Our Story

Just Lily was founded by Kim Hambleton in 2010 and named after her daughter Lily. Just Lily was created out of a frustration with the jewellery available at the time which was poor quality, expensive and lacked originality.

Kim quickly set to work and found a hand selected group of independent makers throughout the UK who welcomed the challenge to create unique individual pieces which were original, high quality whilst remaining affordable. Kim launched her new jewellery range late 2010 which proved an instant success. Creating the very DNA which is now present in all Just Lily shops.

Our First Shop

Fast forward to July 2020 and Kim finally realised her dream to return home to Cornwall where she was born and spent her childhood. Accompanied by her husband Simon, they set about establishing Just Lily Cornwall in the picturesque harbour of Porthleven. From a small harbour hut Just Lily proved an instant hit with visitors and locals continuing to focus on jewellery principles which had been successful since 2010.

In April 2022 Simon joined the business to support Kim and help grow the business. By January 2022 they had secured their first shop in Mousehole harbour. This provided the perfect opportunity for Kim to introduce home interiors and gifts. Using the same principles as the jewellery, Kim set about sourcing affordable products which were unique and often made by independent UK based suppliers.

Our Shops

Following on from the success of the Mousehole store, Kim and Simon quickly opened the Porthleven shop in November 2022, followed by Falmouth in May 2023, St Ives in January 2024 and Padstow in February 2025. With a new store opening planned for January 2027 in Salcombe, Devon.

In 5 years the business has grown from just Kim and Simon to a fantastic team of 27 people all with the same passion and belief which helped create Just Lily all those years ago.
